Apple App Store 
Free and Paid apps available via iTunes 
(but having a US iTunes account gives you a lot more apps to choose from - compared to the SA store)
 
Android Market
Free apps only in South Africa
(Leaf Open Market also only has free apps currently)

Nokia Ovi Store
Free and Paid apps available - credit card / network operator billing

Google City Tours launches - Cape Town already on the map

Hot on the heels of Microsoft's Bing travel site, Google Labs have launched Google City Tours and there are already some suggested tours and sights added for Cape Town. Functionality is still pretty basic with only "View schedule" , "Add/Remove sights" and "Change dates" options but its an exciting start and one to watch with 2010 fast approaching!

Spanish star wants vuvuzelas banned, Spanish fans want Africans banned

Just a day after Spanish football star Xabi Alonso called on FIFA to ban vuvuzela horns, Spanish fans have called on the football body to ban Africans. "They are just so black," said fan Enrique de Torquemada. "And there are so many of them here in Africa. It is very upsetting." Meanwhile South Africans have asked the Spanish to stop lisping.
